Crazy Marketing Guru

My background in Internet Marketing began when I first started working on the web after college. I started an Internet magazine, learned web design and coding, and I built some really great web pages. I liked working on the web so much that I got a job working for a web design company. This is where I focused my skills by learning from other gurus. My goal, of course, was to become a guru myself and dive into this crazy web world to eventually start my own business.

With an art degree I never had a problem creating unique and aesthetically pleasing websites. I even took some high level coding classes and began down the road of becoming a ColdFusion guru. But despite how good the websites I designed looked, they could never be found on the web. It is great to have a really nice site but it is crazy to pay for a website that nobody can ever find on a search engine. Most businesses I speak with are very disappointed in their sites web traffic and online marketing. They just don't know how to get their site found. I was one of those businesses until I decided to do some research, run hundreds of tests on search engines, spend crazy all-nighters buried in marketing research, and now I can honestly say that I am now a web marketing guru. It wasn't easy and my friends and family thought that I was crazy for how obsessed I became with conquering high placement with search engines for my websites.

Online marketing can be tricky and it takes several marketing techniques to gain solid placement on the web. My goal is to help others market their websites and become a bit of a web marketing guru themselves… just, hopefully, not as crazy as myself.
